FAQ

What is Race Control and how do I use it during the event?

Updated
Race Control is the event organizer's live dashboard for the day of the event. Open it with the Race control button on the event page or in the event edit view. Only the event organizers can see it.

Devices - the live report from each competitor's device:
  • Battery, connection quality, free disk space and RBR app version.
  • Time of the last GPS fix and the ride data that is not uploaded yet.
  • The roadbook screen that the rider sees now.
  • The phone numbers and emergency contacts of the driver and the co-driver, to call them quickly.
Each rider gets a status: OK, Watch closely (a value is low or missing, the rider made a short stop, or the rider has a state such as retired) or Possible problem? (the rider started a section, did not finish it and is almost stationary for some time). Check the red riders first.

Penalties - all penalties that the system calculated for the event, per competitor section. Filter by penalty type and open each penalty on the replay map.

Live tracking - the map with the positions of all riders.

Use the full-screen button to show Race Control on a large screen in the race office.
