FAQ

How does it work for individual riders?

Updated
Here’s how it works for riders who want to discover new routes, ride with confidence, or share their own tracks on RoadbookRally.com:
  • Discover tracks: Explore a growing library of public roadbooks and GPX trails on the Tracks page.
  • Ride with the app: Load any track into the RBR Roadbook Reader app and navigate in roadbook or GPX mode. Once downloaded, everything works fully offline — no signal needed.
  • Organize your own tracks: Upload your own roadbooks and GPX trails, then choose who can see them — keep them private, share with select riders, or make them public.
  • Earn from your tracks: Set an entry fee for your tracks or offer them for free. The platform handles all access control, payments, and payouts automatically.
  • Review rides and improve: After each ride, replay your route, analyze your stats, and compare performance to sharpen your navigation skills. Turn any ride into your next training plan. Use these tools to see where time was lost, how you recovered, and what to sharpen next:
    • Replay & map: spot missed waypoints, speed zones, and step through the key moments in order.
    • Penalties report: understand the patterns behind penalties, distance accuracy, and recovery - then leave with clear focus areas for next time.
    • Leaderboards: compare your rides against other riders on each track’s leaderboard and ride again to beat your result. It’s not about outright speed - it’s about clean navigation, accurate distances, and staying composed when the route gets tricky.
