What is the "autoscroll"?

Updated
Newcomers without physical Bluetooth buttons can try the sport using the autoscroll function, eliminating the need for additional hardware purchase.

Autoscroll can serve as an emergency feature in case something goes wrong with the Bluetooth buttons.

Event organizers have the option to disable the autoscroll feature in the event settings for any class they choose.

You can decide whether to manually scroll through the roadbook or use the autoscroll feature. Opting for autoscroll means you won't need to interact with the device while driving; the app will automatically advance to the next roadbook row as you ride.

For those who prefer manual scrolling, an external controller can be used to scroll up/down.

If the autoscroll is enabled, roadbook will automatically advance to the next roadbook row when the total odometer reaches the corresponding distance. In settings, you can adjust how many meters after the current diagram to scroll to the next one.

As someone who has participated in all the rallies this year using the app's autoscroll mode, I can confidently say that driving without physical buttons is completely feasible. There's no disadvantage, even when compared to those who prefer traditional buttons. The experience has been seamless and efficient.
