FAQ

What is a prologue?

Updated
The Prologue is a selective sector used to establish the starting order of the event.

It will be run in the form of a Selective Section.

You will be able to set starting times for all competitors of the first section based on the results of the prologue. Also, You can adjust the starting times manually if desired, such as allowing the top 10 prologue riders to choose their starting positions for the next section.

Moreover, organizers have the option to decide if they want the prologue to count towards the overall event results.

There are two coefficients depending on the length of the prologue (As per FIM Prologue multiplier rules):
  • If the length of the Prologue is between 2 and 10 km, a multiplication coefficient of 8 will be applied to each time of this Prologue.
  • If the length of the Prologue is between 10 and 20 km, a multiplication coefficient of 5 will be applied to each time of this Prologue.
