This is a very simplified guide to get you started on how to create your own roadbook.
Record a GPX Trace: Start by recording a GPX trace as a "base" for your roadbook. If
you're familiar with the route you want to record, you can skip the next step.
Draw Your Preliminary Route: Use tools like bikerouter.de
and/or gpx.studio to sketch out your preliminary route. Once you've
drawn it, load this route onto your favorite GPX navigation app.
Ride the Route: Head out into nature and precisely ride the route you've planned. Use
a phone
or tablet with apps like OsmAnd,
Locus Map, or similar to record the actual GPX trace of the
route.
*It's important not to use tripmaster or wheel sensors for recording, as digital roadbook apps rely on
GPS data for distance calculations.
Load Recorded GPX Trace: Take the recorded GPX trace and load it into Rally Navigator. From there, you can create your
